A restaurant donates 2 cans of soup to charity for every 9 bowls of soup it sells. The number of cans of soup donated by the restaurant is proportional to the total number of bowls of soup sold. Which equation represents the relationship between b, the number of bowls of soup sold, and c, the number of cans of soup donated?

A. c=(2/9)b
B. c=(9/2)b
c. c=(2*9)b
d. 9*(2/b)
I think it is A.
I think this because I used an example of saying 18 was sold and plugged it into the equation and that would give me 4 donated.
Is this correct? If not can you explain how you find the answer.

donation : sold = 2 : 9 = c : b

c/b = 2/9
c = 2b/9 or A, you were right
