Name and describe at least two (2) biomes. You will only receive full credit if you add descriptions in addition to listing two biomes. The descriptions can include the climate, what lives or grows there, and any other information you know.(2 points)

1. Tropical Rainforest: Tropical rainforests are dense forests found near the equator with high levels of rainfall and humidity. These biomes are known for their incredible biodiversity, with a wide variety of plant and animal species. Some iconic inhabitants of tropical rainforests include jaguars, orangutans, and colorful birds like toucans. The lush vegetation in these biomes includes towering trees, epiphytes, and vibrant flowers.

2. Desert: Deserts are arid regions characterized by low precipitation levels and high temperatures during the day, with drastic temperature drops at night. Despite the harsh conditions, deserts are home to a surprising variety of plants and animals that have adapted to survive in this harsh environment. Common desert inhabitants include camels, snakes, cacti, and succulents. The flora in deserts often includes tough, drought-resistant plants with specialized adaptations, such as deep root systems and water-storing tissues.
