Unfortunately, tropical rainforests are also facing threats from deforestation and climate change, putting many species at risk of extinction.
2. Desert:
Deserts are arid regions characterized by low precipitation, high temperatures, and extreme weather conditions. Despite the harsh environment, deserts are home to a variety of plants and animals that have adapted to survive in these challenging conditions. Some common desert adaptations include the ability to conserve water, store nutrients, and withstand high temperatures. Plant life in deserts often includes cacti, succulents, and drought-resistant shrubs, while desert animals may include camels, snakes, and scorpions. Despite the challenging conditions, deserts are biodiverse ecosystems that play a vital role in the global environment.
