Many students would agree that homework is a nuisance most of the time and tiring. Wouldn’t you agree when you get home you would just want to kick back and relax when you get home and take it easy and not think about school. Also, you are worn out from school since you’ve been there most of day so you would be tired which could lead to not even trying if you did get homework. Everybody knows that when you do homework, and you don’t feel like doing it there’s going to be bad grade in the long run.

Previously on my most recent post you have seen about homework and how it is worthless. I talked about why it’s a waste of time for students. In this post I will be talking about the health and mental problems it can cause for students. Some problems include less physical activity because you are sitting there just doing papers or what not and not moving around. There have been multiple study’s proving that around 50% of students proved that they agree it gives them more stress. According to even more studies there is no benefit in doing homework. Too much homework could lead to them overthinking questions in school. This causing them to get their questions wrong in school. This can bring your parents in the matter and that could cause an argument between you and parents because of the bad grades. All because you did too much homework and your worn out. That could lead to bad confidence in yourself then you’ll think you can’t do anything right anymore.

In my two previous post I talked about how homework is a negative thing. One negative thing being that it causes mental problems. These problems are basically not allowing you to think straight because of the anxiety caused by all the work. Then the other being health problems it can cause for students. Mainly because the lack of physical movement while doing schoolwork for hours. When you’re in high school studies have been shown to prove that you get around 6 hours of homework in one week.ow I want to talk about another problem because homework isn’t good for students. It’s not with health problems or anything like that it’s with the student’s family wealth. You most likely know that having a computer or more advanced tools to help with homework is very common. These things like the computer aren’t very cheap to buy most families wouldn’t just have money laying around to get a computer. This causes the less wealthy families to be stressed out. Especially when their students get homework, and they don’t know what to do so it makes their stress worse that they don’t have a computer to help them.

Glow: The writer effectively uses personal anecdotes to support their argument about the negative effects of homework on mental and physical health. This adds a relatable and human element to their points.

Glow: The writer uses statistics and research to back up their claims about the negative effects of homework on students. This shows that they have done their research and adds credibility to their argument.

Grow: The organization and cohesion of the blog could be improved. The writer jumps between different topics and ideas without clear transitions, making it difficult for the reader to follow their train of thought.

Grow: The writer could provide more evidence and support for their argument about the financial burden of homework on less wealthy families. They mention the cost of computers, but do not provide any further details or examples to back up this claim.
