A Minimum of Five Paragraphs (Intro, 3 Body Paragraphs, Conclusion) with at least five sentences in each paragraph.
The essay follows the rules for MLA format.
Rubric:
- Clear and arguable thesis: 10 points
- Introduction with 3 main points: 10 points
- 3 main points supported by at least 2 sources each: 20 points
- Quotes with in-text citations in proper MLA format: 10 points
- MLA formatted works cited page: 10 points
- Writing in 3rd person with no references to the essay: 10 points
- Minimum of five paragraphs with at least five sentences each: 10 points
- Essay follows rules for MLA format: 10 points
Total: 90 points
