One major failure of the New Deal program was its inability to fully end the Great Depression. Despite the implementation of various relief and recovery programs, the economy did not fully recover until the outbreak of World War II. Unemployment rates remained high, and many Americans continued to struggle economically throughout the 1930s. Additionally, the New Deal did not address issues of racial inequality and discrimination, leaving many minority communities behind.
