OPINION: Review your answers to question 1 and what the 6 goals of Constitution are as outlined in Preamble. Do you believe these 6 goals, written over 230 years ago, do a good job outlining what government can and should do the people? If you think it does, explain why. If you think it doesn't, what additional goal or goals do you think should be added?

I believe that the 6 goals outlined in the Preamble of the Constitution do a good job outlining what government can and should do for the people. These goals include forming a more perfect union, establishing justice, ensuring domestic tranquility, providing for the common defense, promoting the general welfare, and securing the blessings of liberty.

I think these goals are still relevant today and provide a solid foundation for the role of government in society. They emphasize the importance of unity, justice, peace, security, well-being, and freedom for all citizens. By striving to achieve these goals, the government can effectively serve and protect the rights and interests of the people.

In my opinion, no additional goals need to be added as the existing ones address a broad range of essential functions and responsibilities of the government. The principles outlined in the Preamble have stood the test of time and continue to guide the actions and decisions of our government in serving the needs of the people.
