Question 1

Bloom’s taxonomy is a framework used to classify educational learning objectives into different levels of complexity and specificity. The taxonomy consists of three domains: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.

1. Cognitive Domain:
The cognitive domain relates to intellectual skills and knowledge. It includes six levels:
- Knowledge: This level involves recalling or recognizing facts, information, or ideas. An example learning activity could be a multiple-choice quiz on historical dates.
- Comprehension: This level involves understanding concepts and being able to explain or interpret them. An example learning activity could be summarizing a text in one's own words.
- Application: This level requires using learned information in new situations. An example learning activity could be solving real-world math problems.
- Analysis: This level involves breaking down information into its constituent parts and understanding their relationships. An example learning activity could be conducting a SWOT analysis of a business.
- Synthesis: This level requires putting together different elements to form a new whole. An example learning activity could be creating a presentation on a research project.
- Evaluation: This level involves judging the value of ideas, materials, or methods. An example learning activity could be critiquing a peer's argument in a debate.

2. Affective Domain:
The affective domain relates to attitudes, emotions, and values. It includes five levels: receiving, responding, valuing, organizing, and characterizing.

3. Psychomotor Domain:
The psychomotor domain relates to physical skills and movements. It includes seven levels: perception, set, guided response, mechanism, complex overt response, adaptation, and origination.
