Water bowls at 100° C and

0° C are placed in a room with a temperature of 25° C. The water in the bowl at 100° C will cool down as heat is transferred to the cooler room until it reaches thermal equilibrium with the room temperature. The water in the bowl at 0° C will warm up as heat is transferred to it from the warmer room until it also reaches thermal equilibrium with the room temperature.

Both bowls of water will eventually reach a temperature of 25° C, as heat transfer will continue until the temperature of the water matches that of the room.
