We should self reflect on our lives because it allows us to grow spiritually and align ourselves with God's purpose for us. In doing so, we can identify areas of improvement, seek forgiveness for our shortcomings, and make meaningful changes that will bring us closer to God. As it says in Psalm 139:23-24, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." By self reflecting, we open ourselves up to God's guidance and transformation in our lives.
