We should fix our shortcomings because they hinder us from fully experiencing and living out the abundant life that God desires for us. In Psalm 139:23-24, it says "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." When we acknowledge our faults and actively work to correct them, we are aligning ourselves with God's will and allowing Him to mold us into the person He created us to be. Let us strive to continuously grow and improve, for in doing so, we draw closer to God and become a light to others.
