5.1. What the principle is;

5.2. How it is used to improve time management;

5.3. Whether it is a suitable tool / principle to adopt in your quest for improved time management.

Our team has been assigned the topic of the 80/20 Rule or Pareto Principle for our time management presentation.

5.1. The 80/20 Rule, also known as the Pareto Principle, states that roughly 80% of results come from 20% of actions or inputs. This principle was named after economist Vilfredo Pareto, who observed that 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population.

5.2. The 80/20 Rule can be used to improve time management by focusing on the most important tasks that will yield the greatest results. By identifying the key 20% of tasks that contribute to 80% of the outcomes, individuals can prioritize their time and efforts on the most impactful activities.

5.3. The 80/20 Rule is a suitable tool to adopt in our quest for improved time management. By understanding that not all tasks are created equal and that a small percentage of efforts lead to the majority of results, we can become more efficient and effective in our daily activities. This principle can help us avoid the trap of busyness and focus on what truly matters in achieving our goals.
