I have chosen Martin Luther King Jr. for this project.

Biography:
Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Baptist minister and civil rights activist. He was born on January 15, 1929, in Atlanta, Georgia. King played a key role in the American civil rights movement from the mid-1950s until his assassination in 1968. He is best known for his role in advancing civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience based on his Christian beliefs. King's leadership inspired widespread movements for civil rights and he is remembered as one of the greatest orators in American history.

Scene Summary:
The scene I have chosen is a still representation of Martin Luther King Jr. giving his famous "I Have a Dream" speech on August 28, 1963, during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. In the background, there is a diverse crowd of people from all walks of life, supporting his fight for civil rights and equality. The scene aims to capture the momentous impact King had on the world through his words and actions.

Artifacts:
1. Microphone: The microphone represents King's powerful voice and his ability to captivate and inspire audiences with his speeches.
2. Handcuffs: Handcuffs symbolize King's peaceful resistance against racial injustice and oppression.
3. Bible: King's strong faith and belief in nonviolence were rooted in his Christian values, making the Bible a significant artifact in the scene.
4. Equality Sign: This symbol represents King's vision of a society where all individuals are equal, regardless of their race or color.
5. American Flag: The American flag symbolizes King's fight for equality within the context of the American nation, emphasizing his love for his country and desire for a more just society.

Scene Dimensions:
Original Scene: 30 feet wide x 20 feet high
Scaled Down Version: 6 inches wide x 4 inches high

Scaling Calculations:
To scale down the scene, we divide the original dimensions by 60:
Width: 30 feet ÷ 60 = 0.5 feet or 6 inches
Height: 20 feet ÷ 60 = 0.333 feet or 4 inches

All calculations were included in the scaling process to ensure accurate scaling down of the scene.
