A representative democracy is a system in which elected officials represent the interests and opinions of the people. These officials make decisions on behalf of the people and are accountable to them through elections.
A repzemtative democracy is like when grown-ups get chosn to make the big decisions for us. They are like our voice and they have to do what we tell them or we can vote them out.
