1. Extrapolate - Extrapolation refers to the act of extending or projecting data, information, or trends beyond the observed or known range. For example, if a study shows that the average weight loss for participants in a diet program was 2 pounds per week for a duration of 10 weeks, one might extrapolate that after 20 weeks, the average weight loss would be 4 pounds per week.

2. Inference - Inference is the act of deriving logical conclusions based on evidence, observations, or reasoning. It involves making educated guesses or interpretations about something that is not explicitly stated or known. For example, if there is smoke coming out of a building, one might infer that there is a fire inside based on the known correlation between smoke and fire.

3. Prediction - Prediction involves making an educated guess or forecast about what will happen in the future based on available information, patterns, or trends. It is the act of anticipating or foreseeing a future event or outcome. For example, based on weather patterns, historical data, and current atmospheric conditions, a meteorologist might predict that there is a 70% chance of rain tomorrow.
