Technique Bearzi used to create moulds of Ghiberti’s Gates of Paradise

Bearzi used a technique called photogrammetry to create molds of Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise. Photogrammetry involves taking multiple detailed photographs of an object from different angles and then using specialized software to stitch them together and create a 3D model. Bearzi used this 3D model to create accurate molds of the gates, which were then used to produce replicas. This technique allowed for precise replication of the intricate details of the original gates.
