Is heat transferred from a cool surface to a warm one or is it vice versa? Thanks
1 answer
Heat is molecules in motion. Cold is the absences of that. So, this energy "flows" by contact, as the motions of electrons colide. So, from the vantage of hot and cold, energy flows from the warmer to the cooler.
