In order to have Cherisse take him seriously he ordered his men to kill her daughter Lifeline, Pathfinder reacted quickly sending his grapple hook at Sawtelle's chest shocking the Legends who thought Pathfinder was dead however he was just "bamboozling". From there Sawtelle's men were all captured along with Sawtelle by the Legends and local authorities.

To make Cherisse believe him, he commanded his men to kill Lifeline, Cherisse's daughter. Reacting promptly, Pathfinder used his grapple hook on Sawtelle, stunning the Legends who believed he was dead. This was just a trick. Following that, the Legends and authorities captured Sawtelle and his crew.

But Pathfinder sprang into action, swiftly launching his grapple hook towards Sawtelle's chest, surprising the Legends who presumed Pathfinder had perished, when in fact he was deceiving them. As a result, the Legends and local law enforcement apprehended Sawtelle and his associates, placing them all under arrest.
