Have you ever had a moment where you were trapped in a situation and immediately filled with fear? Perhaps you stuck your head through a set of bars and couldn’t get it out momentarily. Or you climbed into a tunnel, got stuck, and suddenly realized you couldn’t go back either. Or even if you’ve ever put on a piece of clothing that is too small and realized only when your arms were dangling wildly over your head. If you have, can you recall how your body physically reacted? If you haven’t try to imagine that scenario. What would it be like? Write two paragraphs describing that kind of situation and feeling.

I remember the day I got trapped in a narrow tunnel at a local park during a game of hide and seek. The park had a unique play structure with a secret tunnel that led from one side of the vast playground to the other. After a thorough scouting, I decided the tunnel would be my perfect hiding spot. As I began crawling through, everything seemed to be going smoothly until I reached the middle section, where the space got significantly narrower. It was in that moment, as my chest compressed against the hard tunnel floor and my back scraped against its ceiling, that I realized I couldn't move further or return the way I came in. Panic washed over me, fear gripping my chest as every ounce of breath seemed to evaporate from my lungs.

My body's physical reaction was instantaneous. My heart rate skyrocketed, sending adrenaline coursing through my veins, and my limbs began to tremble. Sweat poured from my skin, and the fear that had once been only emotional now made itself known as a physical ache in the pit of my stomach. Desperate, I contorted my body in any way I could, trying to find a means to free myself from this confining space. Uncertain if I would ever escape, the terror of being trapped in that tunnel haunted me for what felt like an eternity. In that moment, fear had consumed me entirely, paralyzing my mind and stealing my breath.
