This is for students who go to Connections Academy, in grade 8. Kindly only use these answers to check your work, not to cheat ✨

1. Which statement best describes the differences between architectural developments in Russian and Inca culture?
A. Russian architecture extravagant, Inca architecture was elegantly simple.

If you look at pictures comparing Russian and Inca architecture, you will see that Inca architecture is simple, but with an elegant air. Russian architecture is pretty extravagant, perhaps famously the St. Basil’s cathedral.

2. How could an observer distinguish the home of a rich Inca from a regular citizen?
A. Homes of the wealthy had no mortar.

The Inca would stick stones together using mortar (kinda like bricks in todays world I guess!) to create regular buildings for every day use and for the average citizens. However, for the wealthy people and for other important buildings, they could have the stones shaped to fit like puzzle pieces, therefore not needing any mortar to hold them in place.

3. The onion-shaped domes on St. Basil’s cathedral may remind Russians of what part of their cultural heritage?
A. That their religion originated in the Middle East.

Well I’m not about to explain the origins of the Christianity that the Russians at that time worshipped, so let’s just say this is pretty self explanatory 😅

I hope this helps! Have a great day 🥰💕

@Cheater the issue isn’t with my post. It’s that you can’t read 😜 People who read can easily see that the answers you posted are the same ones I did. I offered explanation for the answers to ensure that people actually understand the material because I am responsible with my answers.

Oh and you can’t even be bothered to @ my name properly, or even write out the full answers. Take a grammar class, that should help 😊 Have a nice day~😘

You’re all good 🌹Yuki🌙 ☺️. @Cheater, I still stand by what I said, but now I’m thinking that since you got 33% and it was still the same quick check, that obviously means you only got one right. Sooo…did you mistake the A’s as the answer letters when you were looking for the answers? Just to let you know, I don’t write the answer letters because they can fluctuate. Also, the A’s stand for Answer, I write the full worded answer below the question.

This is another reminder to you people that you ought to read the whole body/paragraph of something before you take a piece of it and run. You can end up missing the context and other valuable info.

You too! Have a wonderful day!

thus is true

Russian architecture emphasized the rectangle; Inca architecture emphasized the sphere.
