Create a flipbook that models all of the moon phases from two perspectives - space-view and earth-view. Be neat, creative, complete, and accurate!

Flipbook Requirements:
Base your moon phases using a 29 day lunar cycle. Each page needs to increment about 2 days (this is because your flipbook has about 15 pages and a full lunar cycle is about 29 days)
Only use colored pencils - no markers/crayons
Use 2 sheets of paper (not 3 like the video shows)
The front of your flipbook should include a title, your name, and class period
Start your flipbook with New Moon. This is Day 0.
Each page needs to include BOTH perspectives:
Space-view: The Sun, Earth, and Moon. This is based on a view from space. The moon revolves around the Earth and is shaded correctly
Earth-view: The Moon phases as it appears in the sky from your perspective
Each page must state the day in the lunar cycle.
Each page must state the lunar cycle phase name.

Flipbook Instructions:

1. Start with a blank sheet of paper. Draw a title, your name, and class period at the top of the page.
2. Draw the Sun, Earth, and Moon in the space-view perspective. Shade the moon correctly to represent the New Moon phase. Label the page “Day 0: New Moon”.
3. Flip the page over and draw the Moon in the earth-view perspective. Label the page “Day 0: New Moon”.
4. Flip the page back over and draw the Sun, Earth, and Moon in the space-view perspective. Shade the moon correctly to represent the Waxing Crescent phase. Label the page “Day 2: Waxing Crescent”.
5. Flip the page over and draw the Moon in the earth-view perspective. Label the page “Day 2: Waxing Crescent”.
6. Continue this process until you have completed the entire 29 day lunar cycle.
7. Once you have completed the flipbook, review it to make sure it is neat, creative, complete, and accurate.
