#9 You can really see the urgency in Liz's voice, and you will be able to see the anger in Julian's voice.

#10 It shows in the first stanza that they are tired and still on the ferry in the middle of the night, and in the second and last stanza that the sun is rising, and they buy a morning paper.

#11 At first Wendy would be happy to adopt Peter and get him ready to be a man but then she is confused when he doesn't want that.

#12 I like the figurative language in the stanza because it feels good to the ears. The poet uses the figurative language to help you get a visual of what is happening. And the way he says "tearing off the husky rind" is just so appealing to the ears.
