Hi, I needed help finding out when and why Science thought the sun revolved around the earth and that the sun did not rotate on its own axis. Also when did Science end up discovering this was false?

Note, however, that a very similar theme was suggested much earlier (275 BC or something like that) by Aristarchus but it never caught on. You can access that information by Googling "timeline of earth and sun theories".
