-Write a sentence that includes an adverb modifying an adjective

That person is sad.

I like to eat fast.

    You have the adjective and the adverb in each sentence, but you have nothing modifying them. Here's the difference:

    That person is really sad.
    ("Really" is an adverb; it modifies the adjective "sad.")

    I like to eat very fast.
    ("Very" is an adverb; it modifies the adverb "fast.")
