I'm doing my science fair project on like how healthy and junk food affect the human body. I check on the site (Rockland Sit Fair) and reading the Project Categories. Does these project categories below relates to my project???

Medicine and Health:
Study of diseases and health of humans and animals - dentistry, pharmacology, pathology, ophthalmology, nutrition, sanitation, dermatology, allergies, speech and heard, etc.

Microbiology:
Biology of microorganisms - bacteriology, virology, protozoology, fungi, bacterial genetics, yeast, etc.

Isn't your project about human health, specifically nutrition?

Yes I think it have something to do with it since this is about how junk food and healthy food affect the human body. So it's probably the first one.

That's nutrition.

If you don't know what nutrition is, look it up.

I do know what it means my dad tells me many times.

Thanks

You're welcome.

Yes, your project on how healthy and junk food affect the human body can fit into the following project categories:

1. Medicine and Health: This category includes the study of diseases and health of humans and animals, which encompasses various fields, such as nutrition. By examining how healthy and junk food affects the human body, you are exploring the impact on overall health and potentially uncovering connections to diseases or related conditions.

2. Microbiology: Although your project is not solely focused on microorganisms, understanding how different types of food influence the microbiome (bacteria and other microorganisms) in our digestive system could be relevant. Microbiology covers a wide range of topics, including the study of bacteria, fungi, and their interactions with human health.

While your project may not specifically fit under a single category, it can overlap with multiple areas of study. The important thing is to ensure that you clearly explain the purpose, methodology, and results of your project in your science fair presentation.
