Hello.

I have several grammar questions and will really appreciate some help.
1)Is the following word order possible in standard English: "I'll tell about it to all my friends in the team" or is it "I'll tell all my friends in the team about it."
2)the same question: "share with them your favorite movies" (especially if "something" is a long phrase: share with them blah, blah, blah) or "share your favorite movies with them"
3)is it possible to say: "Suggest local radio stations play our songs" (i.e. go to stations and offer our songs). Maybe just "take our songs to stations".
4)is it correct to say "ten of my friends" or "my ten friends".
Thank you for your help.

1)Is the following word order possible in standard English: No, you should write it like this: "I'll tell all my friends on the team about it."

2) This word order: "share your favorite movies with them"

3)is it possible to say: "Suggest local radio stations play our songs" (i.e. go to stations and offer our songs). Maybe just "take our songs to stations". What is the subject for the verb here? To simply start with the verb makes the sentence a command. Is that what you intend?

4)is it correct to say "ten of my friends" or "my ten friends". The first means that you have many friends but are referring to only ten of them. The second means that you have ten friends, no more and no fewer.

Hello! I'd be happy to help with your grammar questions. Let's go through each question one by one.

1) The word order "I'll tell about it to all my friends in the team" is not commonly used in standard English. The more natural word order would be "I'll tell all my friends in the team about it." In this case, the object "it" comes before the indirect object "all my friends in the team," but you could also place "it" at the end of the sentence if you want to emphasize it: "I'll tell all my friends in the team about it." Both options are grammatically correct.

2) Similarly, the word order "share with them your favorite movies" is less common in standard English. The more natural word order would be "share your favorite movies with them." If you have a longer phrase to include, such as "blah, blah, blah," you can still use the same word order: "share your favorite movies with them, blah, blah, blah." This ensures clarity and maintains proper sentence structure.

3) The sentence "Suggest local radio stations play our songs" is grammatically correct, and it conveys the meaning that you want to propose or recommend that local radio stations include your songs in their programming. However, if you want to specifically mention physically taking your songs to the stations, you could say "Take our songs to stations and suggest they play them." This adds the action of physically delivering the songs along with the suggestion.

4) Both "ten of my friends" and "my ten friends" are grammatically correct. The choice between these phrases depends on what you want to emphasize. If you want to emphasize the specific number of friends (10), you can say "ten of my friends." If you want to emphasize the relationship ("my friends") and the fact that there are 10 of them, you can say "my ten friends." Both options are acceptable and the meaning is the same.

I hope this helps clarify your grammar questions! Feel free to ask if you have any more doubts or need further explanations.
