Our climate is always changing due to many factors state atleast two major factors of increased clamatic events or natural disaster that are currently affecting two provinces of different clamatic conditions of highlands and coastal region in Papua New guinea and what needs to be done to help minimize the clamatic change?

One major factor affecting the highlands region of Papua New Guinea is deforestation, which can lead to soil erosion, landslides, and flooding. In the coastal region, rising sea levels due to climate change are causing coastal erosion, saltwater intrusion, and increased vulnerability to storm surges and tsunamis.

To help minimize these climate changes, it is important to promote sustainable land management practices in the highlands, such as reforestation, agroforestry, and erosion control measures. In the coastal region, implementing coastal protection measures, such as mangrove restoration, building seawalls, and relocating communities at risk of flooding, can help reduce the impacts of rising sea levels and storm surges. Additionally, education and awareness programs about the impacts of climate change and the importance of adaptation and mitigation strategies can help communities better prepare for and respond to natural disasters.
