Bernice King is the youngest child of civil rights leaders Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 28, 1963. Bernice followed in her parents' footsteps by becoming a prominent activist and speaker in her own right. She is the CEO of the King Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting her parents' legacy and advancing nonviolent social change.
