for a class assignment I am creating a marketing program for a company that is selling motor scooters.

what types of stragtey should I consider including in this plan?

I would determine profile of buyers of motor scooters. Grandma or 10 year olds aren't going to buy them,or yuppie moms either. I doubt expectant moms will be buying either.

You need to know who the potential buyers are.

Mareting is dead

Yeah

When creating a marketing program for a company selling motor scooters, there are several strategies you should consider including:

1. Target Market: Identify and define your target market, considering factors like age, location, income level, and lifestyle. This will help you tailor your marketing efforts to reach the right audience.

2. Product Positioning: Determine how you want your motor scooters to be perceived in the market. Emphasize the unique features and benefits that set your scooters apart from competitors.

3. Branding: Develop a strong brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels. Create a brand personality that resonates with your target market and reflects the values of your company.

4. Online Presence: Establish a strong online presence through a website and active social media channels. Use search engine optimization techniques to improve online visibility, and engage with potential customers through valuable content, promotions, and interactions.

5. Content Marketing: Create compelling and informative content related to motor scooters, such as blog posts, videos, and guides. This will help establish your company as an authority in the industry and attract potential customers.

6. Advertising: Determine the most effective advertising channels to reach your target market. This can include online advertising, print media, radio, TV, and outdoor advertising. Consider using a mix of traditional and digital advertising methods for maximum reach and impact.

7. Partnerships and Collaborations: Explore partnerships with complementary businesses or influencers to expand your reach and tap into new customer segments. For example, collaborate with local bike shops, travel agencies, or lifestyle bloggers to promote your scooters.

8. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Implement a CRM system to track customer interactions, manage sales leads, and personalize communication. Use this data to provide tailored offers, discounts, or loyalty programs to build customer loyalty.

9. Public Relations: Develop a PR strategy to build brand awareness and manage your company's reputation. This can include press releases, media relations, event sponsorships, and participation in industry trade shows.

10. Tracking and Analysis: Set measurable goals and regularly track and analyze the performance of your marketing activities. Use tools like Google Analytics to understand which campaigns are generating the most leads or sales, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize your marketing plan.

Remember, each strategy should be adapted and customized to fit the specific needs of your company and target market. Regularly review and refine your marketing program based on the feedback and results you receive.
