The Eastern Front was long and had more open land, while the Western Front was shorter and had more trenches. The Eastern Front had big battles and lots of moving around, but the Western Front had more fighting in one place. The strategies were different too. On the Eastern Front, they used more cavalry and big troop movements, while on the Western Front they dug trenches and had more defensive fighting. Both fronts were important in World War I.
