One of the most classic story patterns is the hero's journey, where a character embarks on an adventure, faces obstacles and adversaries, and ultimately undergoes a transformation. An example of this pattern is the book "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien, where Bilbo Baggins sets out on a quest to help a group of dwarves reclaim their homeland from the dragon Smaug. Throughout the journey, Bilbo faces challenges such as trolls, goblins, and the dragon himself, all of which push him to grow as a character and become a hero. By the end of the story, Bilbo has not only helped the dwarves achieve their goal but has also discovered courage and resourcefulness within himself.
