Congratulations! You have been selected by an engineering firm to design their

newest robotic prototype. As of this moment, it is your job to come up with a
purpose for the robot and incorporate various types of conic sections into its design.
Task 1
Respond to the following questions.
1. What will your robot be able to do?
2. Which conic sections do you plan on using in your design? Make sure to use
at least three

1. My robot will be designed to assist in warehouse management and logistics. It will be able to navigate through narrow aisles, pick up and move inventory, and communicate with other automated systems in the warehouse.

2. In the design of the robot, I plan on using the following conic sections:
- Parabola: The shape of the robot's wheels will be parabolic in order to efficiently navigate curves and corners in the warehouse.
- Ellipse: The robot's sensors and cameras will be mounted in an elliptical shape around its body to provide a wide range of vision and detection abilities.
- Hyperbola: The lifting mechanism of the robot will utilize a hyperbolic shape to efficiently and smoothly lift and move inventory without causing damage.

By incorporating these various conic sections into the design of the warehouse management robot, it will be able to operate effectively and efficiently in its intended work environment.
