Read the following quotation from Susan B. Anthony written in a letter to Governor John P. St. John. Write a paragraph that explains why Anthony believed that all American citizens should have the right to vote. Do you agree with Anthony? Susan B. Anthony believed that all American citizens should have the right to vote because she thought that women should have the same rights as men. She wanted equality for everyone, regardless of their gender. I agree with Anthony because I think that everyone should have a voice in our government, no matter their gender. It's important for everyone to be able to participate in our democracy.
