The Little One's
Lost!

Clara ran as fun as lighting down the alley following the dark figure, as her siblings ran after her she turned the corner and stopped and looked to see if the figure was there, but it was nowhere to be seen. After her siblings caught up to her. Clara turned around to face them.
“Clara, you ran so fast but where is the person?” Said Ann looking around.
“I don’t know if they ran too fast. I didn't get a good look at them, but I don’t think it was a woman” replied Clara.
“That's weird, why would a little boy steal things?”... asked Betsy.
“I’m not sure” replied Clara as she walked back out of the alley with her siblings following but then Betsy stopped, looked over by the trash cans, and saw a little boy and tiptoed over to the trash can.
“Well, Hello, I’m Betsy are you okay?” Said Betsy with a smile.
“Umm Hi. “Said the boy, “I'm okay, I just had breakfast!”
“From a trash can?” Asked Betsy
“No umm well I took it, I’m sorry I know you were at the restaurant this morning eating and it just looked so good so after your family went to the restrooms I took an egg sandwich,” said the little boy with a frown and a little scared.
“Well, if you're still hungry you can come with me, and I can get you something. And what's your name?” Asked Betsy with a smile and put out her hand for the boy.
“My name is Chris,” said the boy, taking Betsy's hand.
“Well Hello Chris, want to meet my siblings? And my uncle and Aunt?” Asked Betsy
“Sure,” said Chris with a Warm Glow to his smile.

After the children returned, they started thinking and no one saw that Betsy was nowhere to be seen.
“So, what do we do now?” asked Clara.
“I’m not sure,” said Ann.
“Same here,” said Katie and Harry at the same time and Matthew nodded.
“What about you Betsy?” Asked Clara
“Umm, Betsy not here” replied Matthew.
“What! Where is she? you were at the back, how did you not see her leave or get lost!! Ann, how are we going to tell Uncle Dan and Aunt Ella!” Said, Clara
“I-I-I’m sorry it's just that Betsy is so quiet all the time, so I didn’t think she was gone!” Said Ann
At the same time, Uncle Dan came running in
“Why are you both Yelling?” Asked Uncle Dan
“Umm well we are just playing a uhm,” said Clara.
Matthew yelled “A GAME!”
“What game?” Asked Dan
“Umm we are playing truth or dare” replied Harry.
“Okay well dinner is ready Max and your aunt made pizza,” said Dan.
“Okay!” Said, Matthew
“Where's your sister?” Asked Dan
“Right here,” said Clara pointing at Ann.
“No Betsy,” said Dan.
“Oh, umm well she's,” replied Clara.
‘Clara where is she?” asked Dan, getting a little mad.
“Well, umm we don’t know I’m sorry Uncle you see we were chasing someone down the alley and then we came home, and she was gone,” said Clara.
“Well, we will have to take dinner on the road and find your sister “replied Dan walking into the dining room.
From the other room, the children heard The Adults talking about who they were going to get to help look for Betsy
“This is all your fault, if you were looking behind you and see if Betsy was there she would be here right now thanks a lot,” remarked Clara.
“Well, if you were in the back like Uncle Dan wanted this wouldn’t have happened it's all your fault,” said Ann Yelling back at her.
“What do you mean! It's all your fault maybe you should have been in the back and not Betsy,” said Clara.
“Girls! Stop fighting if it's anyone's fault it's mine,” said Dan.
“What do you mean?” asked Clara.
“Well before you children left, Betsy and I had a conversation, she asked what happens if I see something that can help Max? And said go and look at it or go and follow it so I guess that she's still at the alley,” said Dan.
“Well, you don’t know that she's probably on her way back, right?” Replied Clara

As Betsy and Chris walked on. Betsy had a weird feeling that she was going the wrong way, so she stopped and looked around.
“So why did we stop?” asked Chris.
“Well, I think we are lost,” replied Betsy with a frown.
“We are!! But how don’t you live here?” said Chris.
“No, I’m not from here, but I do wish I lived in Utah right now,” said Betsy.
“Oh yeah Utah is a great place to live, but how are we going to get to your house?” said Chris.
“Wait you live in Utah; you know that restaurant we were at, and you saw us eating?” asked Betsy.
“Oh, Yeah I remember why?" asked Chris.
“Well, my uncle's friend's sister owns the restaurant so if we can get there, we can ask her to call my aunt and Uncle and then they can come and get us!” replied Betsy.
“Oh okay, follow me.” Said Chris starting to walk the way to the restaurant.
After Betsy and Chris got to the restaurant. They tried the door, but they were locked so they tried the back doors too but after they tried the back doors a few times they set off the alarms.
“Oh no the alarms, what do we do?” asked Chris.
“That's what I wanted that way, Maggie comes and sees us and takes us back to where I’m staying!” replied Betsy.
“Oh, okay that's a good idea,” said Chris.
“Thanks now we wait,” said Betsy.
A few minutes later the police show up with Maggie, Max, Betsy's Uncle, Aunt, and all the
Kids.
“Uncle Auntie!” yelled Betsy running to them and hugging them.
“Oh, Betsy we looked everywhere for you, where did you go?” asked Uncle Dan
“Well after we were running after the Boy, I saw someone by the trash can, so I had a look and there was a little boy his name is Chris!” replied Betsy walking over to get Chris.
“Oh! So, it was a little boy” said Matthew.
“Well, we are just glad you're safe. And Hello Chris where are your parents? asked Uncle Dan
“My parents are well in heaven looking down on us” replied Chris.
“Oh well, you can come with us! Oh, if that's okay with you Uncle” replied Betsy.
“Yes, that's okay,” said Dan.
After the police and Maggie left The Family and the newest member of the family got in the car to go back home Betsy and Chris sat in the back seat chatting and getting to know each other, laughing and talking about all the adventures they had that day. The family was grateful to have found Betsy safe and sound, and even happier to have gained a new member in Chris. As they drove back home, they knew that no matter what challenges they faced, they would always stick together and look out for one another. And so, the Little Ones embarked on their next adventure, knowing that as long as they had each other, they could overcome anything that came their way.
