Step 1: Cause: The Boston Tea Party occurred on December 16, 1773.

Step 2: Leads to: The Boston Tea Party led to the British government implementing the Coercive Acts in response to the rebellious actions of the colonists.
Step 3: Effect: The Coercive Acts, also known as the Intolerable Acts, further strained the relationship between the colonies and Britain, ultimately leading to the American Revolutionary War.
