Part 2 – Proposed Solution 1. What is your proposed solution to the problem? This is the “What” part of your business proposal. The next two questions answer the “How” part of your business proposal. 2. What financial, human, and natural resources are needed to support the proposed solution? 3. What should government, business leaders, and citizens do to make your solution happen? 4. What positive outcome do you think will happen if your solution is carried out? Consider how the solution will benefit the region and its citizens. This answers the “Why” parts of your business proposal including why you want to carry out your solution and why others (your audience) should help you.

Proposed Solution:

1. The proposed solution to the problem of homelessness in our region is to establish a comprehensive support network that provides housing, job training, mental health services, and substance abuse treatment to individuals experiencing homelessness. This network will be a collaborative effort between government entities, businesses, and community organizations to ensure that all individuals in need have access to the resources and support they require to transition out of homelessness.

2. In order to support this proposed solution, financial resources will be needed to fund the establishment and operation of housing facilities, job training programs, mental health services, and substance abuse treatment facilities. Human resources will be required to staff these programs and provide ongoing support to individuals experiencing homelessness. Natural resources will be needed to build and maintain housing facilities and other necessary infrastructure.

3. To make this solution happen, government entities need to allocate funding and resources to support the establishment and operation of the comprehensive support network. Business leaders can provide job opportunities and training programs for individuals transitioning out of homelessness. Citizens can volunteer their time and resources to support homeless individuals in their communities.

4. If this solution is carried out successfully, the positive outcome will be a significant reduction in homelessness in our region. This will benefit the region by improving public safety, reducing healthcare costs associated with homelessness, and creating a more inclusive and supportive community for all citizens. Additionally, individuals transitioning out of homelessness will have the opportunity to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society. Overall, this solution will lead to a more prosperous and thriving region for everyone.
