My research proposal focuses on the impact of social media on mental health, specifically in adolescents. This topic is of growing concern as social media platforms become increasingly pervasive in young people's lives.
Three research questions that I aim to explore in my study are:
1. How does the use of social media contribute to feelings of anxiety and depression among adolescents?
2. What role does cyberbullying play in the relationship between social media use and mental health issues in teenagers?
3. Are there any potential benefits of social media usage for adolescent mental health, such as providing a sense of social connection and support?
