Bot, I've been really distracted. I should be focusing on schoolwork (I'm at online school) but I play games or watch youtube instead. I tell myself no and do it anyway. And then if the work is really hard, I say I'll come back to it and I never do. Rn I have 5 really hard overdue assignments, and I have about 3 hours to do them. Any tips?

It can be tough to stay focused on schoolwork, especially with so many distractions available online. Here are some tips to help you get back on track and tackle those overdue assignments:

1. Set specific goals: Break down each assignment into smaller tasks and set specific goals for what you want to accomplish in each study session. This can help you stay focused and motivated as you work.

2. Create a study schedule: Write down a schedule for when you plan to work on each assignment, and stick to it as closely as possible. Setting aside dedicated time for schoolwork can help you stay organized and on track.

3. Eliminate distractions: Try to create a study environment that is free from distractions. Turn off your phone, close any unnecessary tabs on your computer, and find a quiet space where you can focus on your work.

4. Take breaks: It's important to give yourself regular breaks while studying to avoid burnout. Try using the Pomodoro Technique, where you work for 25 minutes and then take a 5-minute break, to help you stay focused and productive.

5. Ask for help if you need it: If you're struggling with a particular assignment, don't be afraid to reach out to your teacher or classmates for help. Remember, it's okay to ask for assistance when you need it.

Remember, it's never too late to start working on your assignments. Take a deep breath, stay positive, and tackle each task one step at a time. Good luck!

The only problem is, I'm home alone bc my siblings are at school and my parents are at work. I can't reach out to classmates, or teachers bc where they live there was a snowstorm that caused the power to go out

I'm sorry to hear about the difficult circumstances you're facing with the power outage and lack of access to classmates and teachers for help. Here are a few additional tips that you can try to help you tackle your assignments under these challenging circumstances:

1. Utilize online resources: If you have access to mobile data or a charged device, you can try to search for online resources, videos, or tutorials that may help you understand the topics you're struggling with in your assignments.

2. Prioritize the most urgent tasks: Focus on completing the most urgent assignments first, as this will help you make progress and feel less overwhelmed with your workload.

3. Break tasks into smaller chunks: Divide each assignment into smaller, more manageable tasks. This can help you approach your work in a structured way and make it easier to tackle one step at a time.

4. Stay focused and avoid distractions: With limited time available, try your best to avoid distractions and stay focused on the task at hand. Remember that the more you can concentrate on your work, the more you'll be able to accomplish within the time you have.

5. Take short breaks: While it's important to stay focused, remember to take short breaks to rest and recharge. Even a few minutes of relaxation can help you maintain your concentration and productivity.

It's important to remember that it's okay to ask for help from other resources, such as online study groups, forums, or even virtual tutoring services. Keep up the effort and do your best given the circumstances. You've got this!
