What is the difference between external conflict and internal conflict? (Lesson 5)

External conflict involves a struggle between a character and an outside force, such as another character, society, or nature. This can include physical confrontations, disagreements, or obstacles that the character must overcome.

Internal conflict, on the other hand, involves a struggle within the character's own mind or emotions. This can include decisions, moral dilemmas, or conflicting feelings that the character must resolve. Internal conflict often involves the character's own fears, desires, or personal demons.
