Demonstrate the best practices that Cameroon may employ based on affordable and clean energy as the tenth Sustainable Development Goal
Cameroon can adopt the following best practices to promote affordable and clean energy in line with the tenth Sustainable Development Goal:
1. Increasing investment in renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydro, and biomass to reduce dependency on fossil fuels and promote cleaner energy alternatives.
2. Implementing energy efficiency measures in industries, buildings, and transportation to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
3. Promoting access to affordable and clean cooking solutions like improved cookstoves and biogas systems to reduce reliance on traditional biomass fuels and improve indoor air quality.
4. Enacting policies and regulations to support the integration of renewable energy into the national energy grid and promote the development of off-grid solutions in rural areas.
5. Encouraging public-private partnerships to mobilize resources and expertise for the promotion of affordable and clean energy solutions.
6. Enhancing awareness and education campaigns on the benefits of clean energy and the importance of sustainable energy practices.
7. Supporting research and innovation in clean energy technologies to drive down costs and increase accessibility to clean energy solutions.
