Question
"Between about 7000 and 5000 BCE, the evidence suggests that much of the present-day Sahara had a wetter climate. Hunter-gatherers began raising livestock and herding them across the area's grasslands. The climate changed, and Sahara became a desert during the 4000s BCE. These people moved to other parts of Africa. The practice of raising livestock on open pastures is known as pastoralism. From prehistoric times to the present, many pastoralists in Africa have been nomadic. Nomadic pastoralists often migrate in a seasonal pattern to find the best pastures in each season."
