What are some of the illegal ways to add amendments to the Constitution? Why are these ways prefered rather than the legal methods?
Please help...I found the legal ways but don't know the illegal one. I have searched google but they don't have any answer.

All ways to amend the constitution are legal if the Supreme Court says it is legal.
The process for amending the Constitution is clearly spelled out in Article V:

If anything "illegal" manages to get through this process, the Supreme Court will decide deal with it, as Bobpursley has said.
There is no way to add an amendment illegally. An amendment must be proposed by a two-thirds vote of both houses of Congress or by a convention called by Congress at the request of two-thirds of the state legislatures.
The closest I can think of, is once an amendment is ratified, the only way to repeal an amendment, is to create a new amendment The 18th amendment prohibited alcohol. The 21st amendment repealed the 18th
Otherwise the Supreme Court does have to authority and power to interpret the constitution. Regardless what the amendment actually state, the Court can determine a different meaning from what was previously accepted. But that is changing the meaning of an amendment. Not actually adding a new one.
