4. Newton’s 1st law: Inertia- 4 examples

5. Newton’s 2nd law: f=ma- 4 examples

6. Newton’s 3rd law: action/ reaction- 4 examples

3. Gravity:

- An apple falling from a tree to the ground
- A ball thrown up in the air comes back down due to gravity

4. Newton's 1st law:
- A book remaining at rest on a table until a force is applied to move it
- A car continuing to move at a constant speed on a straight road unless a force is applied to stop or change its direction
- A ball rolling down a hill will continue to roll until a force stops it
- A person inside a moving bus will move forward when the bus suddenly stops

5. Newton's 2nd law:
- A heavier object requires more force to accelerate it than a lighter object
- Pushing a heavy box requires more force than pushing a lighter box
- A car accelerating quickly requires more force than a car accelerating slowly
- A rocket launching into space requires a large force to overcome the inertia of its mass

6. Newton's 3rd law:
- When a person jumps off a boat, the boat moves in the opposite direction
- A person pushing against a wall will feel an equal and opposite force pushing back
- In a rocket launching, the action of the rocket engine pushing exhaust gases downward causes the reaction force that propels the rocket upwards
- When a person walks, the action of their foot pushing against the ground causes a reaction force that propels them forward.
