Diagram of the continuum (8)

Draw a diagram in which you indicate how the teacher-directed and learner-centred
methods function on a continuum

At one end of the continuum:

Teacher-Directed - where the teacher is in control of the learning process, directing all activities, and providing all information.

Towards the middle of the continuum:

Blend of Teacher-Directed and Learner-Centred - where the teacher takes on a more facilitative role, guiding learners and allowing for more autonomy in the learning process.

At the other end of the continuum:

Learner-Centred - where the learner takes control of their own learning, setting goals, making choices, and managing their own progress.

It is important to note that this continuum is not rigid and can vary depending on the context, the subject matter, and the individual needs of the learners. Teachers may move along this continuum as needed to best support student learning.
