Thinking and language are closely connected because language is the medium through which we express and communicate our thoughts. Our ability to think about certain concepts or ideas is shaped by the language we use, as language determines the words and structures available to articulate our thoughts. The limitations of language can therefore influence what we are able to think about, as our thoughts are shaped by the concepts and symbols that are readily available within our linguistic framework.
