In the beginning of the book, I thought Josh was a cocky and confident guy who loved basketball. But as the story went on, I realized he was also dealing with some tough family stuff and working through his emotions. Reading about his relationship with his brother and the loss of his father helped me see Josh in a more complex way and made me root for him even more.
