Why did the farmers alliance form

The Farmers' Alliance was formed in response to the economic hardships faced by farmers in the late 19th century. Farmers were struggling with falling crop prices, high interest rates on loans, and monopolistic practices by railroads and other powerful industries. The Alliance was created to advocate for farmers' rights and to work towards economic and political reform. They sought to address issues such as government regulation of railroads, banking reforms, and increased access to credit for farmers.
