What is abstraction? Describe it in your OWN words.

Give an example from your life where you use or have used abstraction.

Abstraction is a way of thinking or approaching a problem where you focus on the essential characteristics or ideas rather than specific details or complexities. It involves simplifying or generalizing a concept to its most fundamental components in order to understand it better or to solve a problem more effectively.

One example of abstraction in my life is when I was learning to play the guitar. Instead of memorizing each individual chord or note, I focused on understanding the basic structure of music theory and the patterns that occurred throughout different songs. This allowed me to quickly pick up new songs and improvise with greater ease, as I had abstracted the core elements of music rather than getting bogged down in every little detail.
