One example of an ethnic group that remains a minority despite occupying a significant territory is the Kurdish people. The Kurds are an ethnic group predominantly living in the Middle East, primarily across areas of Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria. They have their own distinct language, culture, and history. However, despite their substantial presence in these regions, the Kurds have faced discrimination, marginalization, and have often been denied their own independent state. As a result, they continue to be a minority group within the countries in which they reside.
