One example of a minority ethnic group that occupies a large area but is spread across several countries is the Kurds. The Kurds are an ethnic group mainly dispersed across four countries: Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria. Despite inhabiting a significant geographic region, they are considered a minority group in each of these countries.
